Orange Buoy

Under a light drizzle in early February on the île d’Oléron, these small oyster farming cabins sit side by side waiting for the day’s harvest to arrive. The island has a whole different ambiance in the winter months and totally deserves to be portrayed in my series of Oléron paintings.
