It’s a tough fight. Exhausted, a group of cyclists push their limits to finish the Tour de France as they arrive in Paris for the final stage.
Artist’s Notes:
I loved the variety of blues in the background of this image, like a patchwork quilt. It was a great base on which to place the ‘peloton’ of cyclists, some blending into the background and others brilliantly chosen in their red and pink jerseys. This Tour de France painting is an oil on linen, edged with black linen tape, with all fixings in place and ready to hang.
