J’examine des voyages apparemment banals qui incorporent le r\u00e9el et le surr\u00e9aliste, touchant des \u00e9motions de sensibilit\u00e9, de fragmentation et d’int\u00e9gration latente qui d\u00e9peignent une conceptualisation immanente de ma vision du monde. \u00bb <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Biographie<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Amanda Rackowe (n\u00e9e en 1964) est une peintre britannique install\u00e9e en France depuis 2006.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Apr\u00e8s une formation pr\u00e9paratoire aux arts plastiques, elle \u00e9tudie la conception d’\u00e9clairages pour le th\u00e9\u00e2tre, une influence qui transpara\u00eet dans ses peintures. Elle travaille dans les th\u00e9\u00e2tres du West End londonien et effectue des tourn\u00e9es \u00e0 travers le pays. Elle qualifie souvent son travail de \u00ab peinture avec la lumi\u00e8re \u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Son int\u00e9r\u00eat pour l’\u00e9clairage se tourne rapidement vers l’architecture et l’artiste rejoint YRM, un grand cabinet d’architecture, au sein du d\u00e9partement de d\u00e9coration int\u00e9rieure, avant de rejoindre Lighting Design Partnership en tant que conceptrice et consultante \u00e9clairage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pendant cette p\u00e9riode, elle continue de dessiner et peindre, participant souvent avec succ\u00e8s \u00e0 des expositions et concours locaux.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Elle poursuit son activit\u00e9 de consultante ind\u00e9pendante en \u00e9clairage jusqu’\u00e0 son installation en France avec sa famille, o\u00f9 elle d\u00e9cide de se consacrer \u00e0 plein temps \u00e0 son activit\u00e9 artistique, enseignant \u00e9galement la peinture \u00e0 l’huile pendant 16 ans \u00e0 des \u00e9tudiants de sa r\u00e9gion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

L’artiste a r\u00e9cemment rejoint \u00ab Figuration In\u00e9vitable \u00bb, un collectif de dix-sept artistes figuratifs contemporains, s\u00e9lectionn\u00e9s par l’artiste Carole Melmoux. Ensemble, ils ont expos\u00e9 \u00e0 Art Capital \u00e0 Paris, au Grand Palais \u00c9ph\u00e9m\u00e8re en 2024 et au Grand Palais r\u00e9cemment r\u00e9nov\u00e9 en 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rackowe est \u00e9galement collaboratrice et membre r\u00e9guli\u00e8re de la Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 des Beaux-Arts du P\u00e9rigord, et participe r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement \u00e0 des salons et expositions dans toute la France, en plus de ses expositions personnelles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
