Le Retour

The golden pink clouds weigh heavy in the evening sky, filled with the glowing embers of the dying sun. The silo sits nonchalantly for once, taking a back seat in the lavender world of reflected light. A van makes its way home along the puddle strewn road of the closing day, its soft rumbling motor the only sound.
