Bridge in the Clouds

The Bridge in the Clouds takes us on a journey unknown. It is one with no foreseen destiny. For once, we find ourselves very much alone and unsure if we are ever to make it back down to Earth. The road signs tempt us back into line, an indication that our destiny is not always of our own making, not always self controlled and that we are rarely truly on our own.

Artist’s notes:
I was compelled to paint this beautiful jewel like structure as it seemed to epitomise the concept of ‘the sky is the limit’. Its clean uncluttered lines appeal to my passion for order against the background of unruly ragged clouds.
